When Apple CEO Steve Jobs resigned in August after years of leading the company he founded in 1976, was already in a well-positioned in a post-PC era with 1000 engineers working on chips. Steve Jobs idea of getting low power and smaller is the key to everything moving for future technology in our time.

Apple employs more than 50,000 workforce worldwide. Since 2009 Apple started building its own chip design team, and now it is moving forward designing its own chips since Intel and AMD were still stuck in PC era. Apple needs chips that are powerful enough but also has very low power. Battery life is one of the most important parts in operation of mobile device. Apple latest A5 processor which run iPad 2 will now host iPhone 4S as well. A5 processor is not only twice fast than iPhone 4 which has A4 processor, it has improves battery life from 7 to 8 hours.

Not only Apple producing such extremely powerful processor but Apple removing hard drives from its product and replacing them with flash memory chips. Storage of iPhones, iPads, and MacBook Air are also made of flash. All Apple products are moving in this direction prompting the CEO of Silicon Valley to explain that form factor no longer becomes an issue of those fundamental changes. You can put computer into anything even on TVs.

It depends upon when Apple and those 1000 engineers putting magic in everything they want to unless makes sense at consumers end. The post-PC era began when the introduction of iPhone in 2007, and now, Steve Jobs before he left he declared Apple has ‘brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it’. Axe is Zurb Latest Tool For Website Designers

Zurb a consulting firm specifically for interaction design has just launched its latest tool for website designers and users called Axe. No, it has nothing to do with men’s body spray that makes women crazy. Axe is an interactive form of app used by web designers to tell some portion of the page that is not accepted or leave distaste.

Zurb lead team for marketing Dmitry Dragilev says it is optimized for iPad users but can be also applied for Android users although little bit slowly during the operation process. This can be specifically employ to tablet users but definitely impossible for desktop and laptop browsers.

Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs Dies

It is shocking news in the world of technology whose great innovator of mobile computing world Steve Jobs, Apple Co-Founder and Chairman dies today, Apple said. He was 56.

“Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives,” Apple said in a statement. “The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.”

Steve Jobs have been suffering of various illnesses for years, one of which his rare pancreatic cancer surgery in August 2004. He has also undergone liver transplant in April 2009 which force him to take six-month leave of absence and returned to work for one and half year. This year in January, Apple announced Steve Jobs indeterminate medical leave of absence, and step down as CEO in late August.

The release of iPad 2 early this year surprises everyone when Steve Jobs enter the stage at the Yerba Buena Theater from leave of absence. His presence when introducing iPad 2 makes an aura of cheers when Apple stocks raised high in the market.

Google+ or Facebook: who will dominate the social networking sites

Since Google announces its another product called Google+ the other day, the stiff competition of who will dominate the social networking sites is far from over. While Facebook this morning started major face enhancement that brought many users lost for a while. Some of its loyal users left distaste craving for UK language to return to an old interface. We cannot say they are there for nervous enhancement brought about by the search internet giant impact on competition but for technological point of view Facebook is getting better everyday.

Netflix becomes two

In July, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings announced a plan in splitting its services – streaming video service and DVD-by-mail service – which resulted in creating another website Qwikster focusing on DVD-by-mail-service.

Some of the viewers having dislike comments on the latest changes “You’re not a DVD company and a streaming company: you’re where I go to watch movies. That’s it,” said one commenter, Jeremiah Cohick. “The future clearly is streaming, but by separating and charging more for access, you’re wildly less valuable to me. I’ll likely cancel. You haven’t listened to customer feedback. You’re delusional and you’re lost.”

In which CEO Hastings has replied in the threaded comments that leave a distaste results “By separating the services and charging for both ($7.99) we can license more streaming content,” Hastings said. “We are hungry for better streaming service.”

Netflix plan in the future did not reflect the actual cause why the company was force to apply changes of its services. The explanations of CEO Hastings have been revised to clear up everything and became apologetic. The CEO shows the importance of survival when companies like AOL dialup and Borders bookstores in the long run they end up dying. His justification this time shows more understanding than greed:

“For the past five years, my greatest fear at Netflix has been that we wouldn’t make the leap from success in DVDs to success in streaming. Most companies that are great at something–like AOL dialup or Borders bookstores–do not become great at new things people want (streaming for us) because they are afraid to hurt their initial business. Eventually these companies realize their error of not focusing enough on the new thing, and then the company fights desperately and hopelessly to recover. Companies rarely die from moving too fast, and they frequently die from moving too slowly.”

And added some insights on investors and financial analysts point of view and not as customers:

“We realized that streaming and DVD by mail are becoming two quite different businesses, with very different cost structures, different benefits that need to be marketed differently, and we need to let each grow and operate independently.”

The future technology lies in future streaming as getting best on entertainment became nowadays hot property for comfort and convenience.
